APPROACH

To explore the problem space, my team decided to make field trips museums in Indiana. This was followed by brainstorming potential ideas, storyboarding and making a video prototype.

DISCOVERY

Field Trips

Our team made field trips to science, history and children museums, in Bloomington and Indianapolis, Indiana. This helped us gather insights from various museum installations on people’s behavior. We came across a wide variety of interesting interactions that engages people from all age groups.

Ideation

We began brainstorming and narrowed down our concepts to focus on building constellation via interactions with a large screen through a pen device.

Storyboard

I created storyboard scenes for our final video.

Video Prototype

After doing a series of re-iterations we modified the concept in a game like form where people can learn about constellation in the first level and then use that knowledge to build it in the second level. To make it interesting we included scoring levels and prizes. Below is the final video prototype to showcase how such an interaction in an exhibit can look like.
